The six lines

line 1 is at the bottom

  1. Line 1Yang

    和兌,吉。

A confident belief in your path and principles brings good fortune. With this mindset, you won't depend on outside factors for your happiness.

  2. Line 2Yang

    孚兌,吉,悔亡。

By reinforcing your integrity and values, distractions that don't deserve your attention will lose their appeal. This way, you avoid the regret of wasting your resources.

  3. Line 3Yin

    來兌,凶。

Completely giving in to external pleasures only provides temporary satisfaction. These distractions will ultimately lead to misfortune. Real happiness is found within oneself.

  4. Line 4Yang

    商兌未寧,介疾有喜。

You're struggling with uncertainty caused by a choice between lesser and greater pleasures. Recognizing this and opting for the higher, more constructive pleasure will lead to true happiness. Make your choice quickly.

  5. Line 5Yang

    孚于剝,有厲。

You're considering a relationship that is not beneficial. This could be risky and draw you into danger. It's important to be more discerning to safeguard yourself.

  6. Line 6Yin

    引兌。

You've become wholly reliant on outside circumstances for your sense of well-being. Your happiness depends on external sources, making you vulnerable to fate and the choices of others.
