In order to get your free reading, please focus deeply on your question, or even better write it down in a top box. Once you are ready, press CAST button 6 times. You will get 2 hexagrams and explanations below. No hidden tricks, no registration required - as simple as possible.
First hexagram on the left is the main hexagram and it will give you answer to your question. Please pay special attention to changing lines. These lines will give you most important insight.
Second hexagram on the right is Future hexagram, or Supporting hexagram. This hexagram will give you additional information - most of the time it is not the outcome, but more how the situation will develop.
Please take note that I Ching will not give you simple Yes/No answers. What you get will be the insight into the situation, most of the time an advice what will happen if you don't change anything. It is also important to note that your life is in your hands. You can influence things most of the time and change the outcome. Treat I Ching as a guide, help from the oracle, not a destiny that is unchangeable.
What is I Ching?
The I Ching ([î tɕíŋ], or Classic of Changes, is an ancient divination text and the oldest of the Chinese classics. Possessing a history of more than two and a half millennia of commentary and interpretation, the I Ching is an influential text read throughout the world, providing inspiration to the worlds of religion, psychoanalysis, business, literature, and art.
Is it really working?
Oh, yes! You bet it does. Sometimes it is almost horrifying how much it gives you precise answers. There are 4096 combinations that you can get. It means that there is 0.02% chance to get twice the same combination. However, if you ask the same question, you will often see that similar and even exactly the same answer will come out. But please, don't ask the same question over and over again. Make a break in between of at least a day or few. If you insist on one question, I Ching will start to give you less meaningful answers.
Can it work on a computer?
Original I Ching uses coins or sticks, so many people wonder if it is working on a computer? It is my belief that, by casting IChing, you are focusing your energy to get answers from the universe, collective consciousness, or whatever you want to believe in. In any case, it is up to you and your thoughts to influence this apparent randomness in order to get a meaningful answer. The actual tool to do it is completely irrelevant (random coins toss or random computer code generated when you press a button). But don't take my word for it - try it out.
Why this site?
All of the websites we found with free I Ching readings are either complicated or outdated design. We wanted to make a simple, user friendly website, with a good interface, that works on mobile as well. There are many features that in progress, but we will give or best to keep it simple and enjoyable to use.
