Line 2
The second line, magnetic, shows the king's servant struggling with difficulty on difficulty, and not with a view to her own advantage. Line two is the correctly magnetic correlate of the ruler in line five. Here we see that the moral value of conduct is independent of success or failure.

He can cope with the difficulties, and his "friends" are his correlate line two and the other two lines of the lower trigram who also give their help.
